Use the Garage Confessional Set-Up: 1. Consider the rectory garage like the confessional in church. 2. Form a line on the driveway outside the rectory garage. 3. When the side door to the garage is open, the confessional is free. 4. Enter the garage and then close the door behind you. 5. Walk to the foot of the stairs and kneel at the kneeler. 6. Father Louis is behind the slightly ajar door and cannot see you. 7. In a sufficiently loud voice greet Father so he knows you’re present. 8. Once Father acknowledges your presence confess in the usual manner. 9. When finished exit through the door and leave it open indicating that Father is free for the next penitent.
