Good Shepherd Catholic Parish issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.
Beginning September 9th, each Wednesday and Friday from 7:15-8:15am we will have Eucharistic Adoration at St. James Church concluding with Benediction. Eucharistic Adoration (also known as Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament), is a prayer opportunity where Jesus is taken out of the Tabernacle and placed on the Altar in an ornate display called a Monstrance. It is a time of silent Adoration of Jesus, truly present to us, who wishes to speak in the silence of our hearts. We hope this will prove a benefit for some of the students living in our neighborhood and for parents to spend a few moments with Our Lord when they drop their children off for school. May this opportunity help you find more peace in the midst of the troubles that surround us.
