St Alexander Parish issued the following announcement on Sept. 6

The COVID-19 pandemic has in many ways complicated the grief of those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Some were not able to be present with their loved one at the time of death, others weren’t able to gather for a funeral to receive the support from family and friends, and many are grieving in isolation due to safer at home guidelines.

Finding others who know how you are feeling can be healing. Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Nekoosa is offering a GriefShare recovery support group online program to offer virtual support. This non-denominational 13 week grief recovery support group will begin Monday, September 14 from 6:30 - 8:00 online. To register and participate please call Bethlehem Lutheran Church office at 715.886.4081. The program is free and open to the public for anyone experiencing grief after the death of a loved one.
