Roncalli Newman Catholic Parish issued the following announcement on Aug. 16

Due to the pandemic, Place of Grace is NOT serving inhouse meals to people in need now. They ARE currently preparing about 40 delivered meals on Thursday evenings.

This would be an opportunity for Newman Members to prepare the food and a dessert in our own homes and bring it to Place of Grace on Thursday in time for them to warm, plate and deliver to their clients. The food provided by Newman volunteers would be a large casserole or main dish for Place of Grace to warm and distribute. And, in addition, bars or cookies for a dessert. Volunteers wear masks and socially distance during the no contact delivery. We would like to provide food once a month.
