The Rev. Brian Wilk of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton told parishioners in his weekly reflection that Jesus' Kingdom will be mixed with good and evil souls until the day of last judgment.

This means both saints and sinners will be allowed into the Kingdom, which is the opposite of what the Pharisees believed, Wilk wrote, as Jesus disagreed with the Pharisees.

"Up to the last judgment, the Kingdom will be a mixed bag of good and evil," Wilk wrote in the bulletin. "Like the Kingdom, the Church is also a mixed bag."

The Church preaches repentance, which means both saints and sinners alike are allowed to worship there.

"The Church can do no better than imitate its Founder," Wilk wrote. "It has to be big enough and loving enough to hold sinners in the fold. If it did not do so, it would not be the Church of Christ."

Many people will separate good and evil in their lives, but it's important to remember to also tolerate those that have evil just like Jesus does in the Church and his Kingdom.

"The time for judgment is not yet," Wilk wrote. "The Kingdom of God is really still growing. Now is the time for conversion and discipleship. People can change. We can change."
