NATIVITY OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY: What if…

Homilies

Press release submission Jul 28, 2020

Chapel

Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary issued the following announcement on July 26

The last question Jesus asks you at your judgment is, “What did you do to help stop the killing?

Located in the back of church on the pro-life table, in sealed envelopes, are photos of what CHOICE really means.

For those of you with misguided family or friends please take a photo and spread the heartbreaking truth about abortion. You can help change hearts and minds.

FYI: The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us that all human life must be respected and protected from the moment of conception. We are also reminded in paragraph 2271 of the Catechism that “the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion” and that “abortion willed either as an end or a means is gravely contrary to the moral law.”

Abortion continues to be one of the moral evils of our time and yet it is treated by many as an unimportant issue. All human life must be respected and protected. In that regard, the Catholic Church would condemn all forms of racial inequality. But just as the rights of all ethnic groups must be protected, so too, must the rights of the unborn

The President of “Live Action” has written a brief overview of the current situation with regard to abortion. She also offers some suggestions for the protection of the lives of the unborn. The material is sensitive and will be placed in a sealed envelope in the church gathering space that is reserved for the prolife issues. Although as Catholics we may respectfully disagree with one another on many issues, this is one issue where faithful Catholics cannot.
