Since no camps can be held in Wausau because of public health directives, the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest merged its summer camps with two other teen camps at Green Lake Conference Center.

“In view of the directives of the Marathon County (Wausau) health department, and after much discussion and prayer, we have determined that no camps can take place in Wausau this summer,” the Rev. Canon Jean-Baptiste Commins, camp director, said, the conference website reported.

Each of the merged camps, one for boys and the other for girls, will be able to accept 145 campers, the Institute said.

“If you have already signed up to Teen Camp please know that your spot is reserved,” the Rev. Commins said the website reported. “But online payment today would be of a great help.”

Campers must bring their own sheets or sleeping bags. A COVID-19 safety protocol will be followed. Daily showers are available.

“Any donation will be of a great help in these challenging times,” the Rev. Commins said, the website reported.
