Good Shepherd issued the following announcement on May 31
Communion services are offered as follows:
Sundays from Noon until 2 pm
Names A-M, come between 12-1pm Names N-Z, come between 1-2pm (or whatever time works best for you)
Services are 5-10 minutes, and will be now done in church with Father Raj, rather than outside. An usher will still motion you to come and wait under the canopy while one group of 8 or less is in church for the service. A door tender will notify you when you can enter the church for the next service. When in church, please stand on the taped marks in the center aisle. Do not use the pews.
People are still encouraged to watch the TV Mass or read Scripture before coming. Please at all times, continue with the use of hand sanitizer and the 6-ft distancing. At this time, you are not obligated to come if you are uncomfortable being in a group, are aged or have a compromised immune system.
A total of 74 parishioners attended last weekend’s Communion services. We are hopeful this number will continue to grow. It is important for everyone to watch the website often for updates. If you cannot, please call the office for updates. At this time we are unaware when the switch will be made from Communion services to the celebration of the Mass. Although Bishop Powers has not said, we are hopeful that more changes will take place in the weeks to come.
