Holy Name of Jesus issued the following announcement on May 10

On Friday, May 15th at 3:00 p.m. the people of Wausau will be blessed by Jesus from the top of Rib Mountain. Priests from Wausau will offer Benediction for all of us, begging God for a deeper trust in His Providence, as well as courage and charity as we yearn for the pandemic to end. This event will be filmed and parishes will be able to show it on their websites. Live streaming the Benediction is in the works, but at this time we’re not sure we’ll be able to pull that off. Regardless, you’re encouraged to open your hearts to Our Lord’s blessing on Friday, May 15th at the hour of mercy. Please refrain from attending this event, so as to respect the social distancing policy, as well as the safer at home protocols that are still in effect. And may God bless us, everyone!
