St. Anthony of Padua recently issued the following announcement.

Ash Wednesday Fish Fry - St. Pius - Wed., Feb. 26th after the 5:30 pm mass

Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays during Lent are meatless.  So let's start Lent this year with a fish bake after the 5:30 mass at St. Pius.  There haven't been many fish caught through the ice this year but there is a cooler where we can "snag" some cod which a talented cook will bake for us.  Anyone who has a special side dish they'd like to share, just bring it along.  It will be a great way to start Lent.... mass, ashes on the forehead, and fellowship over a shared meatless meal.  Spaghetti-o's have already been donated for the kids.
